COMMENTS

She is now clean and tidy...much elbow grease. We shall enjoy the weather and river for the next few weeks and then get to work on her during the winter months. Beaulieu Boat Jumble in diary!!!
 

                        

Over the winter we shall attend to her underside which needs stripping and re-painting, lovely job!! We also need to replace her propeller whilst out of the water.
 
The cockpit needs re-working as well as there have obviously been some alterations to the seating which we don't find practical so we are going to build some lockers and new seating giving us more storage. Pedestal seats for Pilot and Navigator are also on the list. New flooring throughout and a shower will probably come next season, plus re-wiring with a 240volt circuit.
 
So plenty to keep us occupied and Beaulieu Boat Jumble in April 2008 is already in the diary!
 
We are moored at "The Pike and Eel Marina" in Needingworth, Cambridgeshire on The Great Ouse. No great adventures yet but we have been cruising up and down river from there several times and seen all sorts of wildlife and some fantastic autumn colours. When the weather changes we shall have her lifted out for the winter.
